What is an Icon?

An “Icon” is a group of one or more products.  An icon can represent a single product, for example, a 60” TV.  More commonly, an icon represents multiple related products.  For example, a 60” TV icon may include several products, such as a 60” TV, a mounting bracket, a universal remote, a cable box, wiring, labor and tax.

Icons can also include partial products--a certain percentage of a product.  For example, an in-ceiling speaker icon may include 100% of the speaker itself, but only 8% of a 12-channel amplifier.  This allows an appropriate portion of the cost associated with the amplifier to be attributed to the speaker.

The ability to modify icons and associated products is not available in the Free Version, but will be available in the upcoming Pro Version.
